Below you will find the answers to the most commonly asked questions about the payday loan application process. This information should clear up any doubts or misconceptions you might have about applying for a payday loan.

How do I get a payday advance loan?

This website is not a lender. We offer consumers a free referral service to lenders who make payday loans. The first step is to fill out the application form on our secure website. It’s quick and easy and will only take a few minutes. PaydayAdvance.org strives to match every applicant with an appropriate lender, but we cannot guarantee that you will be matched. The final decision always rests with the specific lender.

Once you are matched with a lender you will be asked to sign an electronic agreement committing to the payday loan’s terms and conditions. It is very important that you review and fully understand all the terms contained in your loan agreement before signing the document. If you are not satisfied with the terms and conditions, you may simply refuse the loan offer.

After you sign the loan contract, the cash funds are generally transferred to your bank account within one business day. Some lenders do offer one hour transfer times but you should expect to pay an additional fee for this expedited service. Transfer times are also subject to bank holidays so please take this into consideration when applying.

If you have any questions regarding your loan, please contact your lender directly.

What are the minimum requirements needed to apply for a payday advance loan?

Every lender has their own specific rules and requirements which applicants must meet to be approved for a payday advance loan. PaydayAdvance.org does not have any role in the approval process.

The basic requirements which most lenders adhere to are as follows:

To be approved for a payday loan you must meet the requirements of the specific lender with whom you are matched. Most lenders will perform a routine credit check on an applicant and will also verify the information on the application form. This normally includes the social security number, address, and phone numbers.

A lender may determine the amount of approved funds based on your credit history, amount of income, and in which state you reside. PaydayAdvance.org cannot guarantee the amount of the payday loan you will be approved for. Not all lenders are able to provide the maximum $1000 in cash funds.

To avoid delays in processing your loan application, you should fill out the loan application completely and honestly. Generally, lenders will not accept an application in which the information cannot be verified.

Please remember that submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be matched with a lender. Not everyone will qualify for a payday advance loan and approval is never guaranteed.

What if I don’t have a driver’s license or state ID?

If you have neither of these documents, you will need to provide a valid passport number or a social security number. Applications will not be accepted without official proof of both identity and citizenship.

Where can I find my checking account numbers?

Look at the bottom left of your check, the first group of 9 numbers is your Bank Routing Number. This number is always 9 digits long.

The next group of numbers next to the Bank Routing Number is your Bank Account Number. If there are extra zeroes at the beginning or end of your account number, be sure to include them.

The Check Number is far right group of numbers after your Bank Account Number. It is usually four digits and may include a zero as the first number.

There are several payday loan lenders who can lend money to applicants who only have a savings account. You will need to check with your financial institution to find out the specific information you need to have a wire transfer sent to your savings account.

If I’m serving in the military can I get a payday advance loan?

Active-duty or reserve members of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Coast Guard are not eligible for payday loans, serving under a call or order of 30 days or less. It is important that you are honest when giving your personal information. It is illegal to knowingly making a false statement on a loan or credit application.

What situations can affect the timing of my loan proceeds being transferred into my banking account?

Different factors can influence the timing of cash transfers. The day and time of when you submit your application can affect when your funds will be transferred into your bank account. For example, most lenders process loan applications during normal banking hours. Consumers can access our website and submit an application 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, if you are hoping for a fast response on your application and a quick transfer, you should submit your application during regular banking hours.

Also, it’s important to remember that not all lenders offer one hour cash transfer times. Normally, the loan proceeds will be transferred into your checking or savings account within one business day. If you are approved for a loan on a Friday, it may be the following Monday before your funds are available.

Official bank holidays can also affect the timing of a cash funds transfer. You should check with your specific lender to confirm when the funds will be deposited into your account.
